Mike Ebbs, CPA, MBA, MAcc, MPH, is a proud Collierville resident. With more than two decades of experience in financial leadership and public service, Mike brings community involvement, proven expertise, and a passion for education to the Collierville School Board.

After receiving his Bachelor of Business and MBA at the University of Oklahoma, he earned his Master of Public Health from the University of Memphis. Mike is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with experience managing large, complex organizations and budgets. Mike currently serves as Associate Vice Chancellor of Finance at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where he oversees a $711 million budget. Throughout his career in senior financial leadership roles, he has managed and overseen over $1.5 billion. 

Beyond his professional career, Mike has remained engaged in the Collierville community. He has served on the Collierville Parks and Recreation Board since 2023 and is an active member of the Collierville Rotary Club. He is also an Elder at Central Church of Collierville and serves on the advisory board of Calvary Rescue Mission.

Mike is a proud and active Collierville School parent. He volunteers with the Collierville High School Band Boosters, where he is known as both the “Grill Master” and the Nacho Nacho Man”. Mike and his wife, Heather, have called Collierville home for over a decade. His twins, Nathan and Andrew, graduated from Collierville High School in 2022, and his youngest daughter, Camille, is currently a student there.

Mike believes Collierville Schools are exceptional, but believes that continued success requires strong leadership and responsible stewardship of resources. He is running for Collierville School Board Position 2 to ensure that every student continues to have access to the outstanding opportunities that helped his children succeed. Mike also believes that teachers should have the resources and support they need to prepare the next generation for success.
